Yesterday, after work, I caught a train to Manhattan for a holiday gathering of New York mystery writers. We get together every year for drinks and conversation, this year at a quaint restaurant in the Flatiron District. My thanks to the New York chapter of MWA for hosting. As you can plainly see, everyone had a good time.
I left the party a little early and caught a subway to Rockefeller Center for the lighting of the Christmas Tree. I’ve heard estimates that there were nearly a quarter million people at Rockefeller Center last night. (I stopped counting somewhere around a million).
The tree was amazing.
